Thursday Night Dinner Series
Le Piane by the Glass: A Le Piane Wine Dinner with Owen Kotler
Date: Thursday, May 28th
Time: 6:00 PM
Price: $165 per person (does not include tax or gratuity)
Join us for an intimate, multi-course dinner celebrating the rare wines of Le Piane (Boca, Italy), presented by Owen Kotler — the pioneering Seattle importer who has introduced Natural European wines to this region for the past decade.
Le Piane’s estate bottlings are hard to find here and often pre-ordered and allocated; they frequently sell out as soon as they arrive in the United States. For one night only we’ve secured an allocation for guests to preview and purchase at the dinner.
Owen Kotler will guide the evening with a complete preview of the Le Piane selection, sharing context on the Boca appellation, the winemaking philosophy, and what makes these bottles among the top expressions of the area. Expect hands-on tasting notes, stories about the vintages and vineyard, and advice on which bottles to take home — many of which are available only in limited quantities.
Our own Chef Arlen Coiley, whose cooking is steeped in Italian tradition, has composed a menu designed to feel like coming home — comforting, honest, and perfectly matched to the distinct character of Le Piane wines. The dinner includes several courses and a few surprises along the way.
Our Draft Menu, which is subject to change*
Bagna cauda and crudité
Artichoke corn dog, Yukon gold potato, scamorza
